Veterinary Laboratories Agency and Veterinary Medicines Directorate

For over 50 years, Christians at the Veterinary Laboratories Agency and

the Veterinary Medicines Directorate have met together at their site in
Weybridge, Surrey. We currently meet each Tuesday lunchtime. Meetings
include video presentations, discussions, outside speakers, meals
together, times of prayer and Bible studies. These provide an
opportunity to get to know other Christians on site and to encourage one
another in our faith and witness to Christ.

Additionally for many years the Christians have hosted a Tear Fund stall
at Christmas time, to raise money for people from developing countries.
A Christmas Carol Service is also held annually at Weybridge.

In recent years we have run Alpha courses and Christianity Explored
courses as an opportunity for our colleagues to hear the gospel and
understand the Christian faith.

Our new initiative is to run charity events, and we recently organised a
site wide Barn Dance, successfully raising money for the national
charity, Mary's Meals, as well as local charity, Eikon.

Believers and enquirers are welcome to join our meetings on a regular or
occasional basis.  For further details contact networks@christiansingovernment.org.uk.
