Department for Transport HQ Christian Network

The Department for Transport HQ Christian network meets on Wednesday lunchtimes for 45 minutes at Great Minster House. Our weekly programme includes prayer meetings, Bible studies, video/DVD documentaries, external speakers, member interviews, meals etc. Our activites are advertised on DfT's intranet and special events are advertised in the Department's electronic weekly Bulletin (which goes to all DfT staff) and on its HQ Electronic News Service screens.

We have historical links with DCLG and Defra with whom we share a carol service at St Stephen's Church, Rochester Row, SW1. The Etcetera Choir which provides the music at this carol service also performs concerts throughout the year and draws its members mainly from these three departments.

Big Issue!

In February here at DfT HQ we were very pleased with the talk we received from Mr Joel Hodgson who regularly sells copies of 'The Big Issue' outside Great Minster House, Horseferry Rd. He is very keen to be an 'ambassador' for this magazine and if you would like to invite him to speak please get in touch us via networks@christiansingovernment.org.uk.
